About the Guest

Ankita Bhattacharya was born and raised in Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh, India). She is passionate about drawing, nature, and existentialism, she creates artworks with the traditional technique, using black ink, watercolors, pencils & Rotring pens, a lot of lines and hundreds of hours. Since beginning to the present, drawing has been a conscious act for personal growth, storytelling, and of-course mental health.

Inspired by the work of Artists like Alex grey, Miles Johnston, HR Giger. Her favorite tool, the Rotring pen, allows her to obtain a rendering close to engraving but always with a touch of modernity. A meticulous and delicate work that praises the passing of time, where each line acts as a count. her work is also inspired by her love for natural patterns and weird structures. She is interested in creating detailed complex drawings using all the forms she has learned throughout her life. Her art is primarily about the inter-connectivity of all things and balance.

WORKSHOP DETAILS

I look forward to meeting you and helping you attain your goals. You will love Graphic Design with Adobe photoshop. I have been a Designer for over 25 years now and have worked with textile industry as a print & graphic designer and Textile development. I also have extensive experience with print production and dealing with printers and all that they need .

Workshop day 1:

1.Introduction of Toolbox and Pull Down menu

2.How to create and Edit pictures (Basic editing)

3.How to draw (Freehand as well as with drawing with tools)

4.One day assignment will be given at the end of the session

Workshop day 2:

1.Review on assignments (Done by students on previous)

2.Discussion on final Assignment

3.Brief study on my profile picture

4.Final Project layout exercise (in detail)

5.Question Answer round

Materials Required:

1.PC With preinstalled Adobe photoshop CC

2.Notepad & pen/pencil to write and sketch if needed

3.Wecom Pen tab (Optional)

4.Internet connectional (Optional) but your undivided attention (Compulsory :-D )
