Create and Narrate
The art of storytelling in interesting ways using props and things around us.
The learner will be
Guided In creating the puppets from the articles around them.
Like popsicle sticks and brown paper bags. Eg cow , dog, dolls
To paint/colour the puppets.
To create a set-up for storytelling.
To narrate the story using the puppets.(assignment)
Materials required
Popsicles (ice cream sticks) 2
Old buttons(black/brown)- 1
Paper bag (brown) – 1
Black paper- 1(A4 size)
Pink Paper- 1(A4 size)
Sketch pens
Fevicol
Glue Stick
Child-friendly scissors
At the end of the workshop, The learner should be able to
Create puppets reusing the things around.
Colour and decorate the puppets.
Use the puppets in narrating a story.
